Bill Adams

Bill Adams is an experienced economist currently serving as Chief Economist at Comerica Bank since January 2022. Prior to this role, Bill held multiple positions at PNC from January 2011 to January 2022, progressing from Assistant Vice President to Senior Vice President. Additionally, Bill contributed as a member of the Economics advisory board at Palumbo-Donahue School of Business, Duquesne University from September 2012 to June 2018, and served as a center associate at the Asian Studies Center, University of Pittsburgh between January 2013 and December 2016. Bill has also co-authored the book "In Line Behind a Billion People: How Scarcity Will Define China's Ascent in the Next Decade," published by FT Press in September 2013, with a Chinese-language edition released in April 2014. Bill holds two Master’s degrees in International Economics and China Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and The Johns Hopkins University, both completed in January 2009.
