Apostolos Sounas is an experienced R&D professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and project management. Currently serving as an R&D Calibration Engineer at Comet Group since April 2021, Apostolos previously held the position of RF Development Engineer / Project Manager at HUBER+SUHNER from September 2018 to March 2021, focusing on antennas product management and development. Apostolos's earlier experience includes working as a Research Fellow at CERN from September 2015 to August 2018, where responsibilities included R&D on beam instrumentation and data analysis for particle beam systems. Furthermore, Apostolos worked as a Research Assistant at EPFL from October 2010 to August 2015, contributing to high power effects research and teaching electromagnetics courses. Apostolos earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from EPFL and holds a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
