Jim Moening is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional currently serving as the GIS Manager for Commerce City since May 2023. With a diverse background that includes significant roles in program management at Maxar Technologies and Trimble, as well as managerial experience in the State of Ohio's GIS Support Center, Jim has developed expertise in implementing and managing large-scale GIS programs. Earlier in the career, Jim contributed as a software engineer for the City of Columbus and held various positions at ESRI and Woolpert, focusing on GIS applications and project management. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University.
