Mohamed Maamoun

Mohamed Maamoun possesses extensive experience in cybersecurity and telecommunications, currently serving as the Head of Security Operations Center at CIB Egypt since January 2011. In this role, Mohamed leads the Cyber Security Incident Response team and manages the SOC technology stack, ensuring robust security measures within the organization. Previous positions at CIB include SOC Incident Response Manager, SOC Technology Manager, Data Security Engineer, IT Security Senior Officer, and Information Security Officer, where responsibilities encompassed incident response, security architecture enhancement, and user lifecycle management. Prior to CIB, Mohamed held the position of Telecommunication Site Engineer at Ericsson and GLEXTEL. Mohamed holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University and completed high school at Badr Language School.
