Erik Folkesson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management across various European markets. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Credit Risk Corporates - International Europe at Commerzbank AG since January 2009, Erik oversees credit risk for EMEA corporates and local offices in major cities. Previously, Erik held the position of Managing Director in charge of Credit Risk for German Multinationals and select European corporate clients. Erik's earlier roles include Managing Director overseeing Corporate Credit Risk for European clients at Dresdner Kleinwort, as well as leading global finance initiatives in the Nordic Region. Erik's educational background includes a Master’s in International Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, and Accounting from California Lutheran University.
