Mathias Paul has extensive experience in financial reporting and hedge accounting, currently serving as the Head of Department for Financial Reporting at Commerzbank AG since July 2009. In this role, Mathias Paul oversees reporting for investment and commercial banking products in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS, manages segmentation results, and processes hedge accounting. Prior to this, Mathias held positions as Team Head of Financial Reporting and Senior Hedge Accounting at Commerzbank AG, as well as roles at Dresdner Bank AG, where responsibilities included group-wide hedge accounting, financial statement preparation, and treasury reporting.
