Steven Shi is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Developer in DevOps at Hootsuite since June 2021, Steven previously held roles as a DevOps Specialist at Commit and Chief Technology Officer at CheckPay Technologies Ltd, where the first social payment mobile app in Canada was delivered. Steven's career includes significant contributions at Hootsuite as a Senior Operation Developer, Sage North America as a Senior Live Service Specialist, and Talemetry Inc. as a DevOps Lead. With a foundation in performance engineering from Nokia and consulting experience at Capgemini, Steven has expertise in cloud services, automation, and infrastructure optimization. Steven holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Management System from Beijing Information Science and Technology University.
