Ken Hicks

Ken C. Hicks was appointed Chairman, President and CEO of Academy Sports + Outdoors in May 2018. Prior to joining Academy Sports + Outdoors, Ken was on the Academy Sports + Outdoors Board of Managers and served on the Compensation Committee. Ken previously served as the Chairman and CEO at Foot Locker, Inc. until 2014, and also served as Executive Chairman at Foot Locker, Inc. until 2015. Prior to joining Foot Locker, Inc., Ken held senior positions at J.C. Penney Company, Inc., Payless ShoeSource, Home Shopping Network, May Department Stores Company, and McKinsey & Company. Ken has served on the Board of Directors of Avery Dennison Corporation (AVY) since July 2007 and Service King Inc. since 2018. He also served on the Board of Directors of Whole Foods Market, Inc. (WFM) in 2017 and the National 4H Council until 2019.
