A senior physician leader with extensive experience in service line development, strategic planning, physician engagement and quality improvement. Has proven results leading system-wide change in challenging environments. Was a Mayo Foundation Scholar and a recipient of the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award and the Mayo Foundation Burgher Family Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine. Served in several leadership roles and was named a “Top Doc” by Portland Monthly Magazine and served as President of the Oregon Society of Critical Care Medicine and founded and led the Northwest section of the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology. Has published extensively and lectured and presented on numerous healthcare topics. Has national level expertise in healthcare policy, reimbursement and regulatory issues, and has served in national and regional leadership roles for different healthcare and related organizations.
