William Henneberg is an experienced operational forecaster currently employed at Commodity Weather Group since August 2014. With a strong academic background that includes a Master of Science in Applied Meteorology from Plymouth State University and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from American University, William has also served as a graduate assistant at Plymouth State University, where responsibilities included teaching and grading. In addition, William participated in the NSF Doppler on Wheels project and contributed as a forecaster for the NOAA-Scripps Institution Atmospheric River Experiment. Prior experience includes a weather internship at WJLA-TV and a senior research assistant role for the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, focusing on various environmental legislation.
