Lori Richter

Lori Richter is a seasoned professional in health information technology compliance, currently serving as System Director, Health IT Compliance and Information Governance Officer at CommonSpirit Health since December 2013. In this capacity, Lori leads the compliance program across the organization’s Information and Technology landscape, with a focus on Health IT Regulatory Compliance and innovation initiatives. Prior to this role, Lori held positions including System Director for Electronic Health Records Compliance and Regional Privacy Officer at Catholic Health Initiatives, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies. Lori’s extensive background also includes managing electronic health record systems and privacy oversight at CHI Health - St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center and CHI St. Francis Medical Center. Lori holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University, along with an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management from Central Community College.
