Cristina Botero is an accomplished engineering professional with a strong background in electrification, energy systems, and process design. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Beneficial Electrification at ComEd, Cristina leads strategic initiatives in electric vehicle and home electrification programs. Previous roles at ComEd include Sr. Manager of Distributed Energy Resources Engineering, where team leadership focused on integrating renewable energy sources into the grid, and Sr. Manager of Reliability Programs. Earlier experience includes significant positions at Argonne National Laboratory, Tesla, and BP, highlighting expertise in energy infrastructure, factory systems for electric vehicle production, and refinery operations. Cristina holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is pursuing an MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
