Mark Baranek has over 39 years of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as SVP of Technical Services at ComEd, where responsibilities include financial and operational oversight for the construction and maintenance of the overhead and underground transmission system. Mark has held various leadership roles at ComEd, including VP of Projects & Contracts and Director of Transmission, alongside involvement in engineering, project management, and operations. Earlier in their career, Mark completed a summer internship at The Dow Chemical Company. Mark holds both a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
