Nick Komp

Nick Komp is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in transmission and substation engineering. Currently serving as a Manager of Transmission & Substation Engineering Standards at ComEd since January 2017, Nick has advanced through various roles within the company, including Senior Engineer and General Engineer. Prior experience includes working as an Undergraduate Researcher at Northern Illinois University under Dr. Kyu Taek Cho, specializing in fuel cells and earning certification in lab safety under OSHA's Globally Harmonized System. Nick's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and an Associate in Engineering Science from the College of Lake County.
