Joshua Hawke is a highly qualified physicist specializing in plasma diagnostics and laser technologies. Currently serving as the Laser Diagnostic Lead Scientist at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since October 2022, Joshua oversees the laser-based plasma diagnostic systems for the SPARC tokamak. Prior experience includes roles as Experimental Plasma Physicist and FDP Diagnostics Lead at General Fusion, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Los Alamos National Laboratory and EPFL, where efforts centered on laser-plasma diagnostics.
