Previously, Jacob held roles such as Executive Advisor/Chief of Staff for the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Attorney General, contributing to various legal sectors within the state government. Prior experience includes serving as a Land Use Attorney at McBrayer PLLC, as well as an attorney for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. Jacob Walbourn holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
