Ian L Wong

Ian L Wong, MSPH, is an experienced public health professional currently serving on the Subcommittee on Addiction Services of the Gaming Policy Advisory Committee for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Wong also teaches HC 201 - Intro to Public Health as an Adjunct Lecturer at Worcester State University and is a member of the Academic Public Health Corps Advisory Board, which supports local public health initiatives. Additionally, Wong serves as a Consultant at Health Care By Design, focusing on substance use issues, and holds the position of Deputy Director of Public Health for the City of Worcester. Previous roles include Vice Chair of the Promote, Prevention, Support Behavioral Health Commission in Medford, Wellness Connect Faculty at Campus Outreach Services, Academic Advisor and Director of Health Promotion and Prevention at Tufts University, member of the NASPA Region 1 Alcohol and Other Drugs Knowledge Community, and member of the Natick Board of Health. Wong holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC San Diego.
