Mike Darling, CPA, CGA, serves as the Director of Finance at Communitech since February 2016, having progressed from roles including Controller, Manager of Accounting, and Accounting Analyst. Key responsibilities include the preparation of monthly Financial Statements, performing variance analysis, managing the private revenue accounting cycle, and leading the annual audit process. Additionally, Mike leads the NetSuite side of Communitech's new membership process. In conjunction with this role, Mike works as a Bookkeeper for Voyis since April 2019 and previously held positions at the University of Waterloo and PepsiCo Canada, where experiences included expense processing, tax remittance, and financial statement preparation. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Audit, and Information Technology from Conestoga College.
