Working directly inside 41 schools across 14 counties, Communities In Schools (CIS) of Tennessee connects kids to caring adults and community resources like food, healthcare, counseling and remote learning tools so they can overcome personal challenges in their life or structural barriers in their community. At CIS we believe all students, regardless of race, zip code or socioeconomic background should have what they need to realize their potential in school and beyond.
