Jose Vazquez

Jose Vazquez is the Director at Community Access. Jose has over thirty years of experience in the field of media and communications.

Jose started their career in 1981 as a system technician for Pacific Telephone & Telegraph. Jose then moved on to KPIX-TV in 1982 as an engineering tech. In 1983, Jose became the media coordinator/specialist for California State University Hayward. The following year, they were hired by Hearst Cablevision as their video engineer/community access coordinator. Jose was with Hearst Cablevision from 1984 to 1985.

In 1985, Jose began working for Wold Communications/Keystone Communications as a technician. Jose remained with the company until 1991 when they left to become the director at Community Access. Jose has been with Community Access for over 25 years.

Jose Vazquez has an Associate's degree in Communications Technology/Technician from the University of Puerto Rico-Humacao, a General Education Diploma from Notre Dame High School, and certifications from San Francisco, CA in General Radio Telephone License and from Los Angeles, CA in Amateur Extra Class License.
