Jack Cardinal serves as Deputy Director of Communications at Community Catalyst assisting with the overarching communications strategy and related plans to advance the organization’s strategic plan focused on race equity and health justice, long-term vision setting and power building. Prior to this, Jack spent several years supporting various, projects at the organization like the Center for Consumer Engagement in Health Innovation, the Dental Access Project, Together for Medicaid, Consumer Voices for Coverage, and more. Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Jack spent several years as Communications Director for a Massachusetts state Senate office. Before that, Jack served as Head Writer of the Michigan House Democratic Caucus and as a Policy Director in a Michigan state Senate office where he focused on tax policy. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College.

Since 1998, they have provided leadership and support to consumer organizations, policymakers and foundations working to ensure the health care system serves everyone – especially historically marginalized communities.
