Nell O’Connell

Senior Grants Manager at Community Catalyst

As Community Catalyst’s Senior Grants Manager, Nell supports programs across the organization with regranting capacity. In this role, Nell provides assistance in the development and implementation of Community Catalyst’s strategic grantmaking agenda by providing technical assistance to staff and grantees, managing the proposal and award process, monitoring grants, and assisting in evaluating their grantmaking impact.

Prior to joining Community, Catalyst Nell served as a Project Administrator for the Center for Child Health Care Studies at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute providing administrative and grant assistance to the Center and its faculty members. Prior to her time at HPHCI, Nell worked at the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association which strengthened her interest in health care and policy. Nell holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French from Loyola University Maryland. While at Community Catalyst, Nell completed her master's in Nonprofit Management from the University of New Hampshire.
