Ahmad Wafa

Ahmad Wafa is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Assistant Controller at the Community College of Aurora since January 2019. In this role, Ahmad assists in supervising financial operations and providing budget-related reports for the Vice President of Administrative Services. Previous positions include Grants Accountant, where Ahmad managed grant accounting and reporting, and various roles as an Accounting Technician focused on collections and account receivables. Prior to the Community College of Aurora, Ahmad worked in customer service and cash handling at Wells Fargo and Walmart, and held a finance management position with Omran Holding Group. Ahmad holds a Full Charge Bookkeeping degree from Community College of Aurora and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Kabul University.
