Stuart Barr

Stuart Barr has extensive experience in technical direction, currently serving as Technical Director at the Community College of Aurora since January 2017. In addition, Stuart has held the position of Technical Director for the Department of Education at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts since June 2009, along with previous roles at the DCPA - National Theatre Conservatory from 2009 to 2012, and as Foreman at The Opera Shop from December 2007 to May 2009. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Director/Associate Producer at Town Hall Arts Center from August 1999 to December 2007. Educationally, Stuart is pursuing an MFA in Scenography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, holds an AAS in Radio/TV Broadcasting from Wilkes Community College, and earned a BA in Theatre from Berea College.
