Carey Degenaro is a Trial Attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission since September 2022 and has been a member of the Board of Directors and Director of Legal Services for the COVID-19 Eviction Defense Project since January 2021. Previously, Carey served as an Attorney Advisor at the Executive Office for Immigration Review from September 2017 to January 2021 and worked as a Law Clerk to Judge Gregory A. Phillips at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and to Justice Brian D. Boatright at the Colorado Supreme Court. Academic experiences include being a Production Editor for the University of Colorado Law Review, a Research Assistant for Professor Ming Hsu Chen, and various law clerk positions, including at Reilly Pozner and Caplan and Earnest LLC. Carey holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Colorado School of Law and a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
