John Nygaard has extensive experience in the banking industry, currently serving as Vice President of Business Services and Senior Lender at Community First Credit Union in Appleton since September 2009. Managing a commercial loan portfolio worth $283 million, John oversees commercial loan operations and has previously led the underwriting department. As a voting member of the Commercial Loan Committee for a sizable $830 million commercial loan department, John's leadership has contributed to maintaining zero delinquency for five years. Prior to this role, John held vice presidential positions at First Business Bank - Northeast and Horicon Bank, and served as a Senior Commercial Business Analyst at GreenStone Farm Credit Services. John holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, John completed the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2016.
