Amy Di Mauro

SVP for Adult Services at Community Health Resources

Amy will have oversight over all of CHR’s outpatient, residential and community-based programs for adults, in addition to serving on CHR’s Executive Management Team.

Amy joins CHR from the Root Center for Advanced Recovery, where she served as Chief Operations Officer.

Throughout her career in behavioral healthcare, Amy has developed robust clinical and administrative expertise and has particular interest in the design, implementation, and management of programs to treat people across all ages with problems related to mental health and substance use disorders. Most recently, Amy focused on designing and implementing new ways to increase access to MAT for adults and teens, as well as new evidence-based methods to relieve treatment-resistant depression.

A graduate of UConn and Springfield College School of Social Work, Amy is currently a Professor at Quinnipiac University’s School of Social Work and serves on the advisory board for Springfield College School of Social Work. As an extension of this work, she has coordinated many successful internship programs and facilitated a leadership academy.

Amy has moderated and presented on several panels and workshops, and participated as a keynote speaker at conferences in Connecticut and New York City on topics related to children and families as well as adults with substance use and/or mental health symptoms.

In addition, Amy is committed to public policy and advocacy and served as President of the National Association of Social Workers, CT Chapter and the Regional Representative for Connecticut and New York City to the NASW National Office Board of Directors. Amy is dedicated to doing the work to end discrimination and problems related to health inequity. She has started and chaired Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Councils in several different organizations throughout her career.
