Kelly Ernstfriedman

Kelly ErnstFriedman, Ph.D., serves as the Associate Director of Client Services at Community Initiatives since August 2022, following a role as Client Services Manager. Prior to this, Kelly held positions including Executive Director at City Slicker Farms and CommunityGrows, where responsibilities encompassed program implementation, evaluation, financial sustainability, and community engagement. Additional experience includes Program Director at Food Shift, Researcher and Consultant at ContextAnalysis, and Program Coordinator at the Green Science Policy Institute. Kelly has contributed to the field of anthropology through writing, speaking engagements, and teaching at American University. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Anthropology from American University and a BA in Anthropology and Gender Studies from the University of North Texas.
