Community Integrated Services
David Hamalian is a skilled professional with a diverse background in business development and education. Currently serving as a Business Development Specialist at Community Integrated Services since March 2014, David focuses on securing employment opportunities and businesses for adults with disabilities. Prior experience includes managing the financial and personal needs of adults with disabilities as a Service Volunteer at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, where responsibilities included overseeing a $40,000 budget and providing care for individuals with dementia. David also has experience as an SAT teacher at both the Noumena Education Initiative and Huntington Learning Center, fostering student success in mastering the SAT. Earlier volunteer work at the Aziz Nesin Foundation involved teaching and supporting children with learning disabilities. David holds two Master of Arts degrees in History from Jacobs University Bremen and the University of Bremen, as well as a Bachelor's degree in History from Ursinus College.

Community Integrated Services’ mission is to empower people with disabilities through individualized employment opportunities that foster self-sustainability, equality, and community. Through partnerships with area businesses and organizations, CIS works to find jobs that fulfill the employment goals and desires for the people they serve. We believe that all people have the right and responsibility to be an active part of their community, regardless of their disability, and Community Integrated Services helps people with disabilities achieve their employment goals. We provide support during the job search, during the first days at a new job, and then continue support at work on an as-needed basis. We have an innovative, creative staff that comes from diverse backgrounds, and we use our talent and expertise to help find jobs that are a great match for each individual's skills and interests.
