Derek Bakal is an experienced professional with a robust background in supporting individuals with varying needs. Currently serving as an Assessment Trainer at Community Integrated Services since January 2021, Derek previously held the position of Employment Specialist at Resources for Human Development from June 2018 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes working as a Direct Support Professional at SpArc Philadelphia, where direct support was provided in the Cultural Arts Center. Derek's career also features roles such as Greeter at The Franklin Institute, Summer Program Assistant, and Assistant Teaching Artist at The Village of Art and Humanities. Additionally, Derek worked as a Panel Saw Operator at Bird-in-Hand Woodworks. Educational qualifications include dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Visual Studies from Temple University and Tyler School of Art, earned between 2010 and 2014.

We provide support during the job search, during the first days at a new job, and then continue support at work on an as-needed basis. We have an innovative, creative staff that comes from diverse backgrounds, and we use our talent and expertise to help find jobs that are a great match for each individual's skills and interests.
