Rachel MacDonald is an experienced professional with a strong background in education and training. Currently serving as an Employment Training Specialist at Community Integrated Services since August 2019, Rachel previously worked as a Social Media Manager at Personal Evolution LLC and was a Graduate Student at Widener University from 2018 to August 2019, earning a Master's degree in Human Sexuality Education. Rachel's early career includes roles as an AVID Tutor and Mentor, Student Outreach Coordinator, and Lead Peer Facilitator at the University of Houston-Downtown, contributing to student academic success and civic engagement initiatives. Rachel also possesses extensive customer service experience from a role as a Bookseller. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown.

Through partnerships with area businesses and organizations, CIS works to find jobs that fulfill the employment goals and desires for the people they serve. We believe that all people have the right and responsibility to be an active part of their community, regardless of their disability, and Community Integrated Services helps people with disabilities achieve their employment goals. We provide support during the job search, during the first days at a new job, and then continue support at work on an as-needed basis. We have an innovative, creative staff that comes from diverse backgrounds, and we use our talent and expertise to help find jobs that are a great match for each individual's skills and interests.
