Whitney Beverly D'Souza is an experienced event management professional currently serving as the Manager of Events & Community Engagement at Community Living Mississauga since August 2023. In addition, Whitney has been the Entertainment Manager at Memory Lane since April 2021 and previously held the position of Client Manager & Event Planner at elle cuisine from April 2023 to September 2023. Prior to these roles, Whitney worked as the National Health & Safety Coordinator at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services from September 2018 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading COVID testing initiatives for the National Hockey League and the Ministry of Education. Additionally, Whitney served as the National Facilities Coordinator at Palacio Events Center, managing daily operations and client interactions from July 2007 to 2014. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University, completed in 2013.

Community Living Mississauga is a non-profit, charitable organization which provides support to more than 2300 individuals who have an intellectual disability and their families. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of people we support, family members and concerned members of the community. Our philosophy is that all people will live in a state of dignity and respect, share in all elements of living in a community which is welcoming, accepting and inclusive of all individuals. All people will have the freedom to make choices and decisions that enable them to achieve self-determination. We believe that people who have an intellectual disability have a right to live in the community and to participate actively in community life. Each individual, regardless of disability, should enjoy the full rights of citizenship and the full experience of membership in the community.
