Justin Avignone

Justin Avignone has extensive experience in site reliability and operations engineering, currently serving as the Site Reliability Engineering Manager for Metallic at Commvault since March 2008. In this role, Justin leads a team focused on maintaining the health of the Metallic application, which offers data protection services for hybrid cloud environments. Prior positions at Commvault include Team Lead and Senior Operations Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed customer onboarding and SaaS infrastructure management on Azure. Earlier in their career, Justin held various engineering roles specializing in system testing for Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and NAS storage solutions. Before joining Commvault, Justin worked as an Art Director at Twin Vision Incorporated, designing marketing materials for home builders. Justin earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from DeVry University.
