Rafaela Deiab

Rafaela Deiab serves as Editora Executiva de Educação at Companhia das Letras since March 2008, overseeing content management and communication for the Education division aimed at public and private schools, as well as third sector organizations. Responsibilities include budget management, team leadership, and strategic development. Prior to this role, Rafaela was the Supervisora of the Education Department at the same company, where RAFAELA focused on structuring the department, curating content, organizing events, and implementing marketing strategies for educational books. Earlier positions include working as an Arte-educadora at Museu Afro Brasil, focusing on museal education and developing educational materials, and serving as a professor of Sociology, Philosophy, Anthropology, and History at UNINOVE. Rafaela holds a Pós Graduação in Literatura para Crianças e Jovens from Instituto Vera Cruz, an Extension in Teaching-Learning Theories from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, a Master's in Anthropology, and a Bachelor's in Social Sciences, both from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
