Richard Moran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and sales within the Compass Group. Currently serving as Growth Director for the Public Sector at Compass Group UK & Ireland since September 2022, Richard previously held the role of Sales Director for both Compass Group UK & Ireland's Healthcare division and Compass Group Australia, focusing on Healthcare and Workplace Solutions. Richard's earlier career at Compass Group included positions such as Director of Business Development and Senior Business Development Manager within the Chartwells education division, where efforts concentrated on expanding the new business pipeline. Richard began their career in journalism as a Junior Sports Reporter for BBC Radio Sheffield. Richard holds a degree in Journalism Studies and Sports Writing, Media & Marketing from Sheffield Hallam University.
