Trina Owens is an experienced educator and counselor with a diverse background in special education and student support. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Compass Intervention Center since June 2021, Trina previously worked at Wooddale Middle School in various roles, including Exceptional Scholars Teacher for Functional Skills and Inclusion Teacher for Exceptional Scholars from June 2015 to June 2021. Prior experience includes a position as Student Success Counselor at Southwest Tennessee Community College, where proactive advising and counseling of students was key, and various academic support roles at Strayer University, focusing on operations management, enrollment processes, and student engagement events. Trina's career began at Hilton Hotels Corporation, where responsibilities included managing quality and training teams. Trina holds a Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Strayer University and educational experience from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Compass Intervention Center
Compass Intervention Center is located in Southwest Tennessee. This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas. Compass Intervention Center is a free standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages 10 to 17. Intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services are available to male and female adolescents ages 12 to 17. We are available by phone 24 hours per day 7 days per week to answer questions and schedule assessments.
