Amesha Patel

Amesha Patel is an experienced toxicology professional currently serving as the Director of Toxicology at COMPASS Pathways since September 2021. Prior to this role, Amesha held multiple positions at GW Pharmaceuticals plc from September 2014 to August 2021, including Associate Director and Toxicology Team Leader. Earlier experience includes roles at Charles River Laboratories from 2003 to 2014, such as Client Portfolio Manager and Research Scientist, as well as serving as Study Director at Huntingdon Life Sciences from 2000 to 2003. Amesha holds a Master of Science in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
