Robert McQuade

Bob has more than 35 years of experience in the discovery, development, and marketing of drugs for the treatment of mental illness and kidney diseases. At Otsuka, Bob is responsible for coordinating the development strategy for Otsuka’s compounds across their life cycles. He is also President of the MSRD, a limited liability company funded by the Otsuka US pharmaceutical business, which has the purpose to search for, identify and fund innovative early-stage research and development programs that have the potential to build the future portfolio of Otsuka products.

Bob began his career as a research scientist in central nervous system (CNS) drug discovery at Schering-Plough. Subsequently, Bob held leadership positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in Medical Affairs.
