Jesse Samudio

Jesse Samudio has extensive experience in educational leadership and administration, currently serving as Principal at Compass Rose Public Schools since March 2020. Previous roles at Compass Rose include School Leader in Residence, Assistant Principal of Instruction, Dean of Students & Families, and Assistant Principal of Operations. Prior to this, Jesse worked at IDEA Public Schools as a Humanities Teacher and held various positions at The University of Texas at San Antonio as Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment & Student Engagement. Jesse's earlier career includes roles at Texas A&M University-San Antonio as Associate Director for Financial Aid and Veteran Benefits and Manager of Business Services, as well as coordinating business services at the University of the Incarnate Word. Educational qualifications include an M.A.A. in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word and a B.A. in History and Criminal Justice from Texas State University.
