Katie Simpson has a diverse work experience. Katie started their career at Compass Group USA in 2019 as a Project Manager and later became a Lead Project Manager. Prior to that, they had a role as a Volunteer Peer Minister at St. Matthew Catholic Church from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Katie joined Queens University of Charlotte as a member of the Women's Lacrosse Team, where they served as a 2-year Team Captain and had a successful 3-year tenure with the team, making three NCAA appearances.
