Michelle Mattes

Michelle Mattes, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michelle began their career as a Funding Coordinator at Decision One Mortgage in 2001. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at HSBC as an Accountant and later as a Senior Accountant in Financial Planning and Analysis. In 2008, they joined Compass Group North America as a Senior Accountant, focusing on capital assets. Michelle then moved to Canteen, NA in 2012, where they held the roles of Senior Financial Analyst and Manager of Strategic Projects. In 2017, Michelle joined Compass Group USA as the Director of Business Planning and Analysis, before progressing to Senior Director and VP roles. Currently, they hold the position of SVP Finance B&I at Compass Group USA. Their expertise lies in finance, business planning, analysis, and strategic projects.

Michelle Mattes, MBA, obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Winthrop University, where they attended from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and History at Francis Marion University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Michelle has obtained two certifications. In September 2015, they received certification in Inclusive Recruiting from KORN FERRY INTERNATIONAL SA. During the same month and year, they also acquired certification in Management Skills for Managers from the American Management Association.
