Doug English

Doug English is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Compass since April 2024. Prior to this role, Doug led information security and IT efforts at Sonder Inc., achieving a 70% reduction in cyber risk and spearheading the company's first information security strategy, which contributed to Sonder’s successful IPO via SPAC in 2022. Doug's extensive experience includes leadership positions at SecureMaven, Splunk, PRA Health Sciences, bioMerieux, LexisNexis, Level 8 Systems, and UnitedHealth Group/Insite Clinical Trials, with a proven track record of enhancing security programs, reducing risk, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards. Doug holds a B.S. in Business Information Systems from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a CISSP IT Security Certification.
