Matthew Goodman is a research and fundraising professional with extensive experience in strategic prospect management and data analysis. Currently serving as Global Senior Prospect Research Manager at Compassion in World Farming, Matthew's previous roles include Research, Pipeline & Insight Support at The HALO Trust and Partnerships & Philanthropy Officer at UK Youth. Matthew has also worked in various capacities in organic farming and landscaping, and has a notable background in research management at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where responsibilities included prospect identification and resource management. Matthew holds a Research Doctorate in Geography from the University of Glasgow and advanced degrees in Early Modern History and History from The University of Sheffield.

Compassion in World Farming
Compassion in World Farming was founded in 1967 by a British farmer who became horrified by the development of modern, intensive factory farming. Today we campaign peacefully to end all cruel factory farming practices. We believe that the biggest cause of cruelty on the planet deserves a focused, specialised approach – so we only work on farm animal welfare.
