Muhammad Junaid Malik is an experienced networking professional with extensive expertise in network automation, provisioning, and management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager Networks at COMSATS Internet Services since October 2014, Malik has successfully managed BGP configurations, IOS upgrades, and routing and switching protocols using various Cisco devices. Previous experience includes roles as Associate Manager IT at Hashoo Group and IT Officer at Secure Track Pvt. Ltd, where responsibilities involved system provision, hardware configuration, and technical support. Malik holds a Master of Science in Networks Engineering from COMSATS Islamabad and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication from FUUAST.

The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) is an inter-governmental organization, with its Headquarters in Islamabad, Pakistan. On invitation from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, representatives from several developing countries met on 4th and 5th October 1994 in Islamabad and agreed to establish The Commission as a high level forum represented by heads of states and governments aiming at sustainable socio-economic uplift of the developing countries through appropriate applications of science and technology. COMSATS, currently, has a membership of 21 countries, spread across three continents, i.e. Asia, Africa and Latin America. A group of 16 science and technology organizations in different developing countries are also affiliated with COMSATS as a Network of Centres of Excellence.
