David Johnson

David Johnson is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Production Engineer at Comstock Resources since July 2022, David previously held the position of Senior Staff Engineer at Chief Oil & Gas LLC from August 2016 to June 2022. In this role, David maximized asset value through subsurface initiatives while leading a two-rig development program. Earlier, David was with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, advancing through various roles including Production Engineering Foreman, Field Completions Engineer, and Field Production Engineer from June 2011 to March 2016. David's foundational experience includes three internships at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where skills were developed in offshore and onshore engineering projects. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College, obtained in 2011.
