Mikelle Foster has a diverse range of work experience. Mikelle is currently working at Conception as an Associate Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at Gladstone Institutes as a Senior Research Associate and at Google via Adecco as a Research Lab Technician. Mikelle gained research experience at the University of California San Diego as a CIRM Research Intern and at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo as a Graduate Research Assistant. Additionally, they have coached soccer teams at Arroyo Grande High School and Cal Poly Athletics. Mikelle has also worked as a Lefteroff Intern at the Fogarty Institute for Innovation and as Event Staff at Cal Poly Corporation.
Mikelle Foster pursued their education at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. From 2012 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Anatomy & Physiology. Following this, they furthered their studies from 2017 to 2019, earning a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Regenerative Medicine.

If proven safe, it could even enable for genetic editing to eliminate and reduce the risk of devastating diseases for future generations – such as Alzheimer’s, heart disease and many different types of cancers.This could become one of the most important technologies ever created.The company was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Berkeley, California.
