Sophia Shahabadi

Sophia Shahabadi, MSc, ENV SP, LEED, is a skilled sustainability and EHS specialist currently working at Con Edison since June 2023. Previous experience includes roles at the Sustainability Investment Leadership Council as an Officer and Contributor, and as an ESG Manager at Savills North America. Sophia has also served as a Sustainability Analyst at Valutus and as a Program and Planning Coordinator at the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority, focusing on barriers to technology adoption and circular economy principles. Additional experience encompasses a position as a Sustainability Transportation Analyst at The LEAP Institute and research in transit planning at the University of Toronto Transportation Research Institute. Early career roles include environmental assessments at HLV2K Engineering Limited, an environmental internship at the Recycling Council of Ontario, and public outreach volunteering with the City of Toronto.
