Austin Icaza

Austin Icaza is a seasoned professional in talent acquisition, currently serving as a Senior Talent Sourcer at Confluent since December 2021. Prior to this role, Austin led the Technical Recruitment team at Red Hat, recognized as a top provider of open source software solutions. Austin's recruitment experience also includes positions at Aerotek, where recruitment focused on the Raleigh-Durham area's leading electronic companies, and previous roles in performance coaching with D1 Sports Training, North Carolina Central University, and High Point University. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Bridgewater College, earned between 2006 and 2010.
