Peter Bershatsky

Peter Bershatsky is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate business development and strategy. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Business Development at Confluent since 2021, Peter is also a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where a course on "Tech M&A: Strategy, Valuation, and Execution" is developed and taught for MBA students. Previous positions include Vice President of Corporate Development at Alteryx and SVP & Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at HP. Notably, Peter played a significant role at Amazon Web Services as the first Corporate Development leader, contributing to revenue growth from $3 billion to $35 billion in six years. Additional experience encompasses roles at TeleNav, Intuit, Electronics For Imaging, The Chasm Group, and Broadview International. Peter holds an MBA in Management of Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Physics and Philosophy from Yale University.
