Miguel Almeida is a dedicated medical student pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine at Universidade Estadual do Ceará, with an expected graduation in 2026. Currently serving as an International Medical Student Member at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons since July 2023 and the American Academy of Neurology, Miguel has also held key leadership roles as President and Extension Coordinator at Liga Acadêmica de Neurologia e Neurocirurgia da UECE - NEURUECE since March 2022. Miguel's involvement extends to membership in several prestigious organizations, including Academia Brasileira de Neurocirurgia and Sociedade Brasileira de Doenças Cerebrovasculares AVC. Experience as a researcher on neuroanesthesia projects and a monitor in Diagnostic Imaging at the University further underscores Miguel's commitment to the field. Additionally, a recent internship in Vascular Neurosurgery at Escola Paulista de Medicina complements Miguel's practical training in neurosurgery. With past roles as a University Ambassador at Brainbook and Partner Program member at Quora, Miguel actively promotes neurological sciences and engages in public scientific communication.
